Independent and free
The tool is a free, independent initiative. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Maastricht University. Persona Guard is not a party to your complaint and does not submit anything on your behalf.
Not legal advice
The tool and its example sentences are not legal advice. For advice about your situation, contact the UM Student Deans or a lawyer.
Your complaint is your own
You decide what goes into your complaint and whether you send it. You are responsible for its content. Only include statements that you believe to be true, and remove anything you cannot stand behind. Do not accuse named people of things you cannot support.
Facts and sources
The factual statements the tool offers are based on public news reports and official publications, which are listed with the date they were checked. Situations change, so these statements may become outdated. Check them before you send your complaint.
No guarantee of outcome
The university decides how it handles complaints. We cannot guarantee any result.
